I'd personally like to see a 'line in the sand' game against the 'line in the sand' kings in Hawthorn. I don't even care of we don't win, I just want to see us fight back against their bullying of us for the last 10 years in the same manner that they did against the scum.

Unfortunately, Yarran's actions were anything but 'controlled' aggression!!

True but I have no doubt that he was reacting to 'Crapmans' actions, it was pretty out of character forr Yarran to lose control. Lets hope he gets 2 weeks reduce to 1 for good behaviour and he can play agains Collingwood.

I don't think we'll find out what Crapman did to provoke this, one of those things likely to stay on the field. One thing is for sure, Yazz had to have been severely provoked - well IMO at least.

The fact the fat little c@#$ had to take a concussion test, doubt the penalty will be light. Here's hoping though.

That was a strategic ploy to buy time so chappy could get attention and they could maintain their rotations.

And put Yarran in a worse light at the same time? Norf demonstrated that ploy with Juddy.

Wont look good for Yarran though. Anyway, a sacrifice I am willing to accept, still sent a message. I'm tipping Chappy would be there angriest hard assed player. When they saw him on his ass early, they all thought in their minds "these guys are gonna take any sh#t today". I liked it. Wouldnt mind Yazz sitting that sniping pr!ck Hodge on his ass either. Or that wanna be Lewis.

Ellard is the same proposition as those state league players everyone wanted to recruit.

He is a depth player who has survived on our list through the sheer mismanagement of our list and our clubs  inability to bring through top notch draftees, and develop them appropriately.

Yesterday he kicked a very important goal from an acute angle to bring us back into touching distance, and is an honest performer who's worst footy is usually good enough.  He was one who won his contest against West Coast.

I grade Ellard on a sliding scale.  He isn't a great player but has forged a pretty good career for himself and actually plays for the jumper and his mates.

Think about this, if he is so bad, what does it say about the rest of the guys we have gotten rid of?  Clearly Ellard wants to be here and does whatever he can to help, and that is important to consider in the scheme of things.  His tackle on a big man yesterday was good to watch.
