Re: In Game Action: AFL Rd 23: Carlton vs. GWS at Marvel - LoveNavy - 08-21-2021 Is Cripps injured (afl match stats) Also says Newman off injured Re: In Game Action: AFL Rd 23: Carlton vs. GWS at Marvel - Baggers - 08-21-2021 (08-21-2021, 11:24 AM)bignic link Wrote:That turnover from Kennedy is symptomatic of two things about our team. Firstly, Turnovers have killed us all year. The old p1ss poor midfield, forward line connect is rearing its ugly head... under pressure, old habits emerge. Kicks into the forward line that land on opponents chests is, as you say no. 2, p1ss poor footy IQ. :
Re: In Game Action: AFL Rd 23: Carlton vs. GWS at Marvel - madbluboy - 08-21-2021 Casboult not even running Re: In Game Action: AFL Rd 23: Carlton vs. GWS at Marvel - LoveNavy - 08-21-2021 There's the drop off - 40pt turnaround ? Re: In Game Action: AFL Rd 23: Carlton vs. GWS at Marvel - Baggers - 08-21-2021 Old habits creeping back. Newnes too focussed on getting his man off the ball rather than attacking the aggot and beating him too it. In the first qtr, we were attacking the aggot... get a message to them, TT, to attack the aggott, don't fear your opponent or a mistake. You can do this, BlueBaggers... need a steadier, now!!! Re: In Game Action: AFL Rd 23: Carlton vs. GWS at Marvel - PaulP - 08-21-2021 Dow on as sub. Re: In Game Action: AFL Rd 23: Carlton vs. GWS at Marvel - Baggers - 08-21-2021 Act, TT, act!!! Makes a change or two... give them something to think about... get creative. Re: In Game Action: AFL Rd 23: Carlton vs. GWS at Marvel - LoveNavy - 08-21-2021 Cripps subbed out Re: In Game Action: AFL Rd 23: Carlton vs. GWS at Marvel - laj - 08-21-2021 (08-21-2021, 11:29 AM)LoveNavy link Wrote:There's the drop off - 40pt turnaround ? 39...lol. Re: In Game Action: AFL Rd 23: Carlton vs. GWS at Marvel - bignic - 08-21-2021 If you want to know just one reason why Teague needs to go, here it is. The concept of taking ownership, does not exist in our team. Charlie Curnow could have taken ownership and kicked for goal. What does he do, passes it to his brother who is in a perfect position to have a shot, after all he's kicked bananas from 40 metres out on the boundary line. We have seen player after player pass from 40-50 metres out from goal all year, to a player in a worse position. I have never been able to understand why the coach would not give one instruction which would apply to every player on the ground. If you are within that 50 metre arc, take ownership and have the shot for goal. |
