Totally dropped their bundle.  No manning up, no checks on O'Meara and just woeful tactics, completely foreign to what we did less than 40 minutes ago when we were walking off well in front.

Only my first sentence was about the goal. The rest was referring to general play.

6 goals in the first quarter, 3 since.
Just gave up running through the corridor and started kicking long down the line to nothing.

Great coaching - slow it down, feck it up....

This is where Hawthorn's experience will win over youthful exuberance. For them, 28, 19, 20 and 22  didnt strike a blow for 2 qtrs. All of a sudden...

Win lose or draw, that quarter was a perfect example of Bolton's stubbornness and total lack of a plan B.

Omeara is their best player, had a million possessions. Why not get Curnow to tag him. Say to curnow, I don't care if you don't get a kick, as long as he doesn't get one. But why would that stubborn goose Bolton do that.

Secondly, you can see what's happening. they are breaking everywhere. only one way to stop it. Play man on man. but no. bolton just lets it all flow and hopes for the best.

I have said all along that the can't coach.

He's got some very good players to work with, but he will cost us dearly in the long run.

I’m someone who generally supports Murphy but FMD he was surely taking the p1ss in that quarter. He is the weakest soft c**k we have.

Disgusting quarter.

I know his old but obvious that quarter we still need Simmo big time.

Time for some of these blokes to stand up because this game is here for the taking....  When the chances come,  you gotta take them. I'm looking at you Murphy,  forty out,  you have to kick them.

We've fallen away noticeably as special K  has run out of gas.

And one more thing. We are without a doubt one of the worst Carlton tackling sides I have ever seen.

Fisher can't tackle at all. Murphy won't tackle because he's scared he'll do a shoulder, and the list goes on.

We’re a rabble.
Completely fallen apart after a brilliant start
