OK, so not the result we wanted, but we should still recognise the positives.

Indeed. It was not the way we wanted to go out for 2019, but it has been a very nice rise. Hopefully we can continue in this vein.
However, something has to be done about the incredible advantage that Adelaide has. No other team has 2 states worth of players to pick from.

[3] Bri Davey: 22 possessions and a real effort from the Captain.
[2] Nik Stevens: Solid in defence
[1] Maddy Prespakis: Not her best game, but her class is worth a lot.
Honourable Mentions:
Darcy Vescio: Very good after half time when she was further up the ground. Pity she couldn’t get near it early.
Alison Downie: She was beaten in the ruck today for only the 2nd time this season. But she kept going and managed to get ball, especially after half time.
Gabby Pound: Again, not her best effort, but her work rate and endeavour were excellent.
Sarah Hosking: Plays with passion, plays it tough.
