Jim Park Voting: AFL 2021 Rd 11: Carlton vs Sydney - crashlander - 05-29-2021
Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.
I hope we play the way we want to play, as I want to have difficulty casting votes. Because so many need a mention, this is.

Yes, we lost. We capitulated. But for a lot of this game, we were pretty good.
I really hate how it turned out, but there really were things we did well for long periods.

Explanations:
[3] Patrick Cripps: Crippa had a very good game and kept it going, even when we weren’t so good. Would have been worth more if his disposal was good as the way he got the ball.
[2.5] Sam Walsh: Vey solid game from Walsh, especially as he was a marked man.
[2] Harry McKay: Could have been a really big game had he been able to kick straight. Too good for his opponent.
[1.5] Jacob Weitering: Not as much attacking from Jacob, but a fine defensive effort.
[1] Sam Docherty: Not as good as he has been of late, but better than he was few weeks ago at HBF.
[1] Eddie Betts: Not enough, but what he was memorable.
[1] Ed Curnow: Really good early but fell out of the game completely.
[1] Nick Newman: Not as good as he has been either, but he wasn’t that bad.
[0.5] Liam Stocker: Started very well ad looks to have a future.
[0.5] Zac Williams: not bad in defence, and his goal was a ripper.
[0.5] Marc Pittonet: Won the ruck duel but couldn’t provide the drive we were looking for.
[0.5] Liam Jones: To keep Franklin to 3 was a good effort.
Honourable Mentions:
Jack Silvagni: Jack didn’t get it enough, but he did try his guts out and his goal was excellent.
